Museum of Bad Art – Brand Identity Proposal
This conceptual rebrand project reimagines the visual identity of the Museum of Bad Art (MOBA) — an institution dedicated to celebrating art that’s "too bad to be ignored." The goal of the redesign was to elevate the museum’s presence while embracing its satirical and self-aware nature.
The Proposal
The new branding balances bold visual humor with clean, contemporary design. It leverages irony and character to reflect MOBA’s mission of finding beauty in failure and celebrating the unconventional. The redesign includes a refreshed logo, typography system, and layout guidelines that intentionally contrast "high-brow" aesthetic principles with the museum’s offbeat spirit.

This project explores the power of branding in shaping perception — showing that even “bad art” deserves a strong identity and a place in the cultural conversation.
